Amazon main image requirements,
handled in one batch upload
Amazon's main image rules are strict: pure white background, product fills most of the frame, no extra text or props. Upload your whole shoot and Scrollify prepares every file to spec — no Photoshop batch actions required.
What the Amazon main preset does
-
Pure white canvas
2000×2000px on a true white (RGB 255,255,255) background — Amazon's main-image requirement.
-
Product-filled framing
Trims dead space and pads consistently so the product fills the frame the way Amazon expects.
-
Batch, not one-by-one
Upload your whole shoot or a ZIP — every file gets the same treatment in one job.
-
JPG output, listing-ready
Amazon requires JPEG, TIFF, GIF, or PNG for main images — Scrollify exports JPG by default.
How it works
-
1
Upload your shoot
Individual photos or a ZIP — rejected files are reported without failing the batch.
-
2
Pick "Amazon main"
The preset sets canvas size, white background, and padding automatically — tweak any of it if needed.
-

Download & upload to Seller Central
Get a ZIP of listing-ready JPGs plus a processing report.
FAQ
- Does this guarantee Amazon approval?
- No tool can guarantee catalog approval — Amazon also checks for props, watermarks, and text overlays, which Scrollify doesn't detect. This preset handles the background and framing requirements; you're still responsible for what's actually in the shot.
- My product photo has a busy or shadowed background — will it still turn white?
- When smart background removal is enabled on the account, yes — the product is isolated from the backdrop before the white canvas is applied, not just cropped to a border.
- Can I use this for secondary/lifestyle images too?
- Yes — switch the background option to keep the original scene, or use a different preset for social/lifestyle shots that don't need pure white.
