Terms of use
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of Scrollify at scrollify.io (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Scrollify converts public URLs you submit into visual exports (video and image files) according to your configuration and our technical capabilities. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may sign in with an email and password or via Google OAuth. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and never in plain text. If you forget your password you may request a reset link by email; that link expires after one hour and is single-use.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- capture or distribute content you do not have the right to use;
- submit URLs that point to private networks, localhost, or internal infrastructure;
- circumvent authentication or access controls on third-party sites;
- generate exports for illegal purposes or in violation of a third-party site's terms of service;
- probe, attack, or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure.
4. Content and third-party sites
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and use material from URLs you submit. We do not access, store, or analyse the content rendered on third-party pages beyond what is necessary to produce your requested export. We do not endorse third-party websites you process through the Service.
5. Exports and file storage
Completed exports are stored on our servers and accessible via your library. You may share an export using a public share link; anyone who has that link can view and download the file. You can generate or revoke share links at any time. We may remove export files after a period of inactivity or on account deletion.
6. Plans, quotas, and billing
Usage is subject to the quotas of your plan (free, starter, pro, business). Monthly export limits are counted when a job is created, not when it is deleted. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processors; cryptocurrency payment options may also be available. Plan details, pricing, and available features are described on the home page and may change with notice.
7. Watermark and bonus credits
Free and starter plan exports may include a watermark. Eligible plans may earn bonus export credits by opting into watermarking; credits are applied to future exports and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
8. Availability and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Export jobs may fail due to site availability, page complexity, or infrastructure limits; we will make reasonable efforts to process jobs but do not guarantee completion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if free).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
11. Contact
