Anyone who has manually documented a hidden-service page knows the workflow: open Tor Browser, wait for the page to load over a slow circuit, screenshot what's visible, scroll, screenshot again, and stitch the pieces together by hand. A single screenshot misses everything below the fold — the exact content, in a forum thread or marketplace listing, that usually matters most.

Dark Web Scroll replaces that manual process with one continuous capture. The output is a video file that anyone on the team can open, forward, or drop into a report — without asking them to configure Tor themselves first.

How it works

Scrollify detects a valid Tor v3 (.onion) address automatically and switches that job to route through Tor before capture begins, using an isolated browser profile and a fresh circuit per request. The finished export behaves like any other Scrollify output — private by default, shareable on your terms — with one exception: .onion captures can never be approved for the public gallery, regardless of who requests it.

Built with acceptable use as the starting point, not an afterthought

Dark Web capture is provided strictly for lawful investigative, compliance, threat-intelligence, and research purposes. Before the first .onion capture on any account, we require an explicit, logged acknowledgement of the acceptable-use terms — including an unambiguous prohibition on using the feature to view, capture, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or to facilitate any other illegal activity.

Every .onion capture request — created or blocked — is logged with the account, the requested URL, a timestamp, and the requesting IP address, and retained indefinitely for compliance review. We actively review this activity; accounts found misusing the feature are suspended and reported to law enforcement.

A scroll video is not a substitute for certified forensic evidence collection — it's a clear, repeatable visual record of what a page rendered at capture time, meant to sit alongside whatever chain-of-custody or hashing process your own team already uses.
